We understand your hassle with long-distance cabling issues or laying cables between multiple buildings on the same premises.

Well, you can now put an end to this problem!!

How ??

TrackSo LoRa, it is! Yes, we’ve got you covered with the WIRELESS networking systems!

Introducing LoRa: Wireless Monitoring

LoRa wireless technology is changing the game. It effortlessly connects devices wirelessly using the Modbus communication protocol. Transforming Modbus data into a wireless format allows remote monitoring and control without the headache of dealing with physical RS485 cables.

A recent use case-

For example, in a 5MW project, we faced a tough challenge where we were supposed to connect a Diesel Generator and an Inverter at a 4 km distance to synchronize the PV-DG, and laying cables was impossible due to multiple buildings and a road crossing.

However, TrackSo successfully implemented a LoRa wireless system. This allowed us to establish communication between the inverter and DG meter without the hassle of laying cable saving thousands of Rupees and many days of work.

Exploring LoRa: The Long-Range Player

You might think about the distance this device can cover. Lora can cover distances up to 20 km and we have different models depending on the distance between your inverters.

Advantages of LoRa in Long-Distance Communication :

  • No cabling hassles: LoRa technology optimizes cost and time efficiency through a swift and hassle-free cable-free installation process.

  • Modbus RTU compatibility: Seamlessly supports Modbus RTU via RS-485, ensuring compatibility with your existing systems and equipment.
  • Easy to install: There is minimal effort in installing these devices, it’s a simple plug-and-play.
  • High ranges: Achieve remarkable connectivity with a range of up to 20 kilometers.
  • Cost-efficiency: Say bye to the expense of wiring infrastructure. LoRa technology eliminates wired RS485 by replacing them with a wireless communication solution.
  • Overcoming infrastructure challenges: LoRa proves extremely useful when physical wire connections are impossible due to infrastructure limitations.
  • Remote reconfiguration: We can remotely re-configure the device anytime without a site visit.

Points to be noted for  LoRa Installation :

  • Line-of-Sight Requirement:  Since LoRa relies on wireless communication that works on low frequency, both LoRa converter antennas must have a NO-HURDLE line of sight to ensure smooth communication.
  • Long-Distance Optimization:  If the communication distance is causing low signal strength, you shall enhance it by utilizing powerful external antennas.
