Enable Power Fail/Restore SMS Alerts on TrackSo IoT Data Logger
TrackSo IoT Data Loggers (WT-800 & WT-805) has an inbuilt functionaity to generate SMS from Logger when logger power is restored or logger is restarted remotely using SMS command.
Following are the 4 steps which are to be followed for enabling SMS alerts from Logger.
Step-1 Identify device phone no. from solar.trackso.in
Step-2 Send SMS Command to register Mobile No. for SMS Alerts
Example SMS Command-
*2222# <Cfg.device: NAME=”Site identifier”,PH1=”8800xxx765″,PH2=””,PH3=”” >
identifier-15 characters site identifier
Maximum 3 no.s can be added in above message PH1 , PH2 , PH3
Step-3 Send SMS command to enable Power Fail/Restore Alerts
SMS Command-
*2222#<Cfg.alert: AEN=”3″,PWR=”1″,SHT=”0″,INP=”0″,OUT=”0″ >
PWR=”1″ enables the alert for Power Fail/Restore
PWR=”0″ disable
Step 4 Test if you are able to recieve SMS Alerts
Send following sms command to restart the logger remotely.
*2222#<Cmd.sysrst: >
If the command is successfully delivered you will recieve a SMS confirmation for restart and post the device reset you will also recieve Power Restore/Device Reset alert via SMS on the numbers sent in step-2
Note: SMS generated in above method are charegable by your SIM Card provider.
