Its very easy to power and test sensor with analog outpurs. It will take a few minutes to follow the steps and do basic calculations to get through this.
Linear Voltage Output based analog sensor.Example- 0-1V / 0-5V / 0-10V

Step-1 Identify input voltage points and Power Sensor using the required Input DC Voltage
Step-2 Identify output port and measure output using a multimeter
Step-3 Identify output range and calculate the calibration factor
Step-4 Multiple the output shown in multimeter with calibration factor and obtain the output

Example

Lets assume you are using Pyra300V with 0-5V output. Kindly open datasheet available for this sensor at this link and complete the 4 steps as mentioned above.

Step-1 Identify input voltage points- As per datasheet sensor can be powered on by supplying 12V/1A on Brown (+) and Black (-) wire.
Step-2 Identify ouput voltage points (V out) – As per datasheet sensor output can be read on Blue(+) and Black (-) wire

Step-3 Identify output range and calculate calibration factor- As per datasheet sensor output range is 0-1800 W/m2 for linear output of 0-5V

How to calculate the calibration factor using this value?

Output: 0 -5 VDC= (0-1800 w/m2) Irradiance in W/m2

Output in W/m2 = 360*DC Output voltage measured by the voltmeter

Step-4 Multiple the output shown in multimeter with calibration factor to obtain output

Example if voltage measured is 1.2 v then

Output in W/m2= 1.2*360=432 W/m2

Current based analog output Example- 4-20ma

Step-1 Identify input power points and Power Sensor using the required Input DC Voltage
Step-2 Identify output port and measure output using a multimeter
Step-3 Identify output range and calculate the calibration factor
Step-4 Obtain the output using Calibration equation

Example

Lets assume you are using Pyra300C with 4-20ma output. Kindly open datasheet available for this sensor at this link and complete the 4 steps as mentioned above.

Step-1 Identify input voltage points- As per datasheet sensor can be powered on by supplying 12V/1A on input side.
Step-2 Identify ouput points (I out) – As per datasheet sensor output can be read on -Ve point which is as shown in diagram below.

Step-3 Identify output range and calculate calibration factor- As per datasheet sensor output range is 0-1800 W/m2 for linear output of  4-20 mA

How to calculate the calibration factor using this value?

Output: 4-20 mA= (0-1800 w/m2) Irradiance in W/m2

Output in W/m2 = 112.5 (Output in mA – 4)

Step-4 Obtain the output using Calibration equation

Example if current measured is 10 mA  then

Output in W/m2= 112.5 (10-4) =675 W/m2
